20-year-old woman attacked and nearly raped near park in the Bronx.

Authorities reported that a 20-year-old woman was targeted by an unknown assailant in the Mott Haven neighborhood early Thursday morning, approximately at 12:15 a.m.

The incident occurred near the intersection of East 150th Street and Wales Avenue, close to a small, fenced-in park adjacent to a parking lot. According to police, the woman was approached and grabbed by the suspect, who was wearing a black baseball cap and a red shirt. In a disturbing turn, the man attempted to force himself on the victim.
