68-Year-Old Woman Injured in Random Thanksgiving Day Attack in Midtown
A 68-year-old woman was hospitalized following a violent incident in Midtown Manhattan that took place on Thanksgiving Day, police authorities reported. According to police sources, the elderly woman was approached from behind by a man who delivered a forceful elbow strike to her back. As a result, she lost her balance and fell face-first into the façade of a building she was walking past. Emergency Medical Services transported the woman to Mount Sinai West, where she is currently receiving treatment for her injuries.
