Israel to Sponsor Tour for MAGA and Pro-Trump Influencers

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has initiated an ambitious plan to host tours for social media influencers from the United States, focusing on individuals who align with the MAGA (Make America Great Again) and America First initiatives. This initiative, aimed at bolstering pro-Israel sentiments among younger Americans, seeks to leverage the substantial followings possessed by these influencers, who collectively command audiences ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions.
According to a recent report from ZezapTV, the tour is expected to include 16 influencers, all under the age of 30, reflecting a strategic move to engage a demographic that, according to Israeli officials, is witnessing a decline in support for Israel. “With the rise of the America First movement and MAGA in American politics, it is essential for Israel that this movement adopts a pro-Israel position,” remarked Yacov Livne, a senior official within the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s Department of Public Diplomacy.
As part of its broader strategy, the Israeli Foreign Ministry aims to organize 550 influencer delegations to visit the country by year’s end, highlighting an increasing focus on social media as a vital communication channel. Reports suggest that while older Republicans generally maintain favorable views towards Israel, perspectives among younger age groups are shifting, prompting the need for proactive outreach.
The influencers participating in the tour will be encouraged to disseminate narratives that align closely with Israeli policies concerning Palestine. An unnamed source from the ministry emphasized the immediate impact of such influencers, stating that their outreach is significantly more effective than traditional communications from governmental agencies.
The initiative will be carried out in partnership with Israel365, an organization that strives to promote support for Israel, particularly among Christian communities, rooted in biblical principles. This organization advocates for Jewish people’s rights to the entirety of the Land of Israel and takes a firm stance against the two-state solution, portraying it as impractical.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry has reportedly allocated 290,000 shekels (approximately ,000) for the execution of this tour, marking a significant commitment to fostering its relationship with the MAGA and America First movements through collaborative events and outreach efforts.
As geopolitical dynamics continue to evolve, such initiatives underscore Israel’s focus on engaging influential voices to shape perceptions and enhance its standing within the complex landscape of American politics.
