A second suspect involved in a shooting incident that injured eight individuals outside a late-night lounge in South Philadelphia has been apprehended. Authorities reported that 22-year-old Nino Dasilvio, a resident of Darby, surrendered to the U.S. Marshals Service around noon on Thursday. The arrest was executed without incident.

The U.S. Marshals Service in Philadelphia confirmed via social media that Dasilvio arrived at the facility accompanied by his attorney and family members at the time of his surrender. His apprehension follows the issuance of an arrest warrant on July 17, for serious charges including six counts each of aggravated assault, firearms violations, and related offenses.

The violence occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on July 5, following a knife fight that escalated and spilled onto the second-floor balcony of the 7 Elements lounge, situated within the Dung Phat Plaza shopping center at the intersection of 11th Street and Washington Avenue. This confrontation resulted in multiple individuals sustaining injuries, although all victims were reported to be in stable condition following the incident.

Earlier in July, another individual, 43-year-old Michael Welton, who was serving as a security guard at the 7 Elements lounge during the shooting, surrendered to authorities and has since been charged with attempted murder along with other related offenses. Welton’s actions on the night of the incident have raised questions regarding security protocols at late-night venues in the area, particularly in light of the violent altercations that seem to have become all too common.
