This week in Philadelphia’s vibrant music scene features a range of events, showcasing local talent, iconic acts, and emerging stars. The Disco Biscuits, a celebrated jamtronic quartet, will host a nearly week-long celebration at Ardmore Music Hall. With roots traced back to the University of Pennsylvania in 1995, the band initially planned four performances at the venue, a spot they last graced for a livestream-only concert during the pandemic in 2021. Due to overwhelming demand, the number of shows has been expanded to six, a testament to the band’s enduring popularity. Their series of performances in support of their album Revolution Motion begins on Tuesday and runs through Saturday.

Additionally, WXPN-FM will present a free Homegrown Live show at the Lounge at World Cafe Live on Wednesday, featuring the seasoned rapper Reef the Lost Cauze and singer-songwriter Ben Arnold, who is set to release his new album, XI, on September 26.

Concluding the week, music enthusiasts can look forward to the iconic British rock band The Who, who will perform at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in South Philadelphia as part of their North American farewell tour. Following this show, the band is scheduled to make an appearance at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Saturday.
