50-year-old woman fatally stabbed during physical altercation in Mansfield after argument.
A tragic incident occurred in Mansfield on Saturday night, resulting in the fatal stabbing of a 50-year-old woman. According to a police statement released on Sunday, the confrontation began as a verbal argument before escalating into a physical altercation.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 10:51 p.m. to a residence located in the 200 block of Morgan Road following reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned that several individuals were engaged in a violent struggle behind the dwelling. Responding officers proceeded to the rear of the home, where they discovered the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Additionally, a 43-year-old woman sustained minor injuries, while a 43-year-old man present at the scene had no visible injuries.
Emergency medical personnel from the Mansfield Fire Department quickly arrived on the scene, administering aid to the stabbing victim. Both women were subsequently transported to Methodist Mansfield Hospital for treatment
