Country artist Orville Peck is set to return to Orange County this fall as part of his newly announced Man Turned Mule Tour. The singer-songwriter is scheduled to perform at the House of Blues Anaheim on October 29, following the tour’s North American kickoff in Sacramento. The tour will feature Nashville singer-songwriter Abbie Callahan as a supporting act, and it will conclude on November 22 in Huntington, New York.

Presale tickets for the artist will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, through Peck’s official website. Additionally, Citi cardmember presales will also commence on the same day in select markets. General ticket sales will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 31. Notably, one dollar from every ticket sold during the North American leg of the tour will be donated to The Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ youth.

The announcement of the tour coincides with the impending release of Peck’s fourth studio album, “Mule,” which is slated for September 18 via Warner Records. Recently, the artist released two new songs: the lead single “Too Little, Too Late” and “Prologue (Eulogy of a Man Turned Mule),” a collaboration featuring acclaimed artists Emmylou Harris, Noah Cyrus, and Allison Russell.

Peck has indicated that “Mule” reflects a significant year in his life, delving into themes of addiction, sobriety, love, and identity, all while blending various genres including country, bluegrass, and Americana. His artistic journey is marked by a rich tapestry of influences and narratives that resonate deeply with his audience.

The upcoming tour follows a particularly eventful period for the enigmatic performer, who recently made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry and has appeared on Broadway in a production of “Cabaret.” Furthermore, Peck is set to portray Vega in the highly anticipated “Street Fighter” film. His previous album, “Stampede,” featured notable collaborations with renowned artists such as Willie Nelson, Elton John, Beck, Kylie Minogue, and Diplo.
