During a recent White House press briefing, Trump urged demonstrators to stay away, stating they would be met with “very big force” should they attempt to disrupt the event.
The parade’s planning comes amidst heated discussions surrounding immigration policy, as Trump continues to face backlash for his administration’s recent crackdown on immigration protests in Los Angeles. Despite acknowledging the potential for unrest, Trump claimed to have no credible intelligence indicating plans that would disrupt the festivities associated with the Army’s milestone celebration.
