A woman from New Jersey has been arrested and charged following a violent encounter that resulted in a man being seriously injured outside a Wawa convenience store in Egg Harbor Township. Authorities announced these developments on Friday, detailing the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Berlin Township Police Department received a call and dispatched officers to the Wawa located along the 400 block of Route 73 just before 2:45 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered a 35-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. Due to the severity of his injuries, emergency medical personnel transported him via helicopter to Cooper University Hospital, where he remained in critical condition as of Saturday afternoon. His identity has not yet been publicly disclosed.

In the aftermath of the stabbing, law enforcement conducted a search of the area, which led to the discovery of the suspect, identified as Kelli Feaster, who was reportedly hiding behind the Wawa. Officers took her into custody without further incident. Feaster now faces several serious charges, including first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault, and various weapons-related offenses.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, the victim and the suspect appear to have a prior connection, though officials have not elaborated on the nature of their relationship. The prosecutor’s office has assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety at this time.

Limited information has been released regarding the specifics of the altercation, as authorities continue to investigate the events leading up to the stabbing. The police have encouraged anyone with additional information to reach out to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.

This incident underscores the ongoing concerns regarding violence in public spaces and highlights the critical need for community awareness and intervention strategies to prevent such occurrences in the future. As investigations proceed, residents are urged to stay informed and vigilant.
