The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office reported that the investigation into the disturbing incident commenced on July 6, when police were summoned to the 100 block of Andre Court following a tip from relatives who discovered Wordsworth’s body. Upon arrival, officers found her lifeless form, prompting further investigation.

An autopsy conducted by the Burlington County Medical Examiner revealed that Wordsworth had succumbed to traumatic injuries consistent with being bludgeoned. The nature of these injuries points to a violent confrontation that took place within the home.
