Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived promptly at the scene to transport the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition following treatment. Preliminary investigations revealed that the delivery van was struck by gunfire, with visible damage including a bullet hole adjacent to the right taillight and markings on the sliding cargo door. Officers at the scene noted a small pool of blood inside the vehicle, situated on the floor where packages are stored.
Law enforcement officials have initiated an investigation into the shooting and are currently searching for two male suspects who fled the scene on foot.
