Anne Burrell, Food Network star, has died from a drug overdose, confirmed by the New York City Medical Examiner.

Burrell was discovered unresponsive in her Brooklyn apartment around 1 a.m. on June 17. Emergency services were alerted, and her husband, Stuart Claxton, was directed by a 911 dispatcher to perform CPR until first responders arrived. Unfortunately, by the time help reached her, her body was already cold, and despite efforts to revive her, medical personnel were unable to resuscitate her.

The Medical Examiner’s office later determined the cause of death to be the combined effects of the aforementioned substances, which led to the conclusion of suicide, as reported by a spokesperson from the office.
