Ardmore’s Piazza development is set to begin construction soon.

Lower Merion Township is set to host a significant community discussion this evening focused on the long-anticipated mixed-use Piazza development in Ardmore. This meeting will commence at 6 p.m. and will feature representatives from Radnor Property Group, the developer tasked with transforming a 3.5-acre site along Lancaster Avenue into a vibrant mixed-use project.

The Piazza development was approved by the township in 2021 and is designed to include a five-story residential building featuring 270 apartment units alongside nearly 30,000 square feet dedicated to retail space. This initiative marks another step in Ardmore’s ongoing transformation, which aims to enhance local living conditions and boost the township’s economy.

Community members will have the opportunity to engage with the developers, pose questions, and express their concerns prior to the planned groundbreaking, which is expected to occur later this fall. Such discussions are crucial in fostering transparency and encouraging public input on projects that significantly influence the local landscape.
