Asplundh Tree Expert relocates to new, larger headquarters in Horsham.

Asplundh Tree Expert, a prominent family-owned company specializing in tree pruning and vegetation management, is set to relocate from its corporate headquarters in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, where it has operated for over five decades. The company will make a short move to a newly leased property situated just half a mile away, encompassing a substantial 120,000 square feet.

The announcement of the move was made public last week, with commercial real estate expert Jeff Mack, who serves as the executive managing director at Newmark, noting that this transaction represents one of the largest office leases completed in the Philadelphia region this year. He emphasized that the new facility is designed to be an innovative workplace that aims to attract and retain top talent for the company. Mack is facilitating both the lease negotiation for the new property and the sale of Asplundh’s long-standing headquarters, which is a 93,000-square-foot office building set on 13 acres.

The transition to the new location at 680 Blair Mill, projected for early 2026, will not only provide a modern workspace for Asplundh’s workforce but will also offer building-top signage, enhancing the company’s visibility in the area. Following the move, more than 400 employees are expected to benefit from an upgraded, contemporary work environment.

Asplundh Tree Expert, founded in 1928 in the suburbs of Philadelphia, primarily focuses on vegetation management around power lines and has established itself as a leader in the industry. Much of its operational framework relies on contracts with various utility companies, as well as local, state, and federal governmental entities. Over the years, the company has significantly expanded its operations and currently employs over 36,000 individuals across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

This strategic relocation marks a significant milestone for Asplundh, reflecting not only its growth trajectory but also its commitment to providing enhanced facilities for its employees. The upcoming move underscores the company’s evolution and dedication to maintaining its competitive edge in the tree service industry while continuing to serve a diverse clientele.
