Barefoot Country Music Fest returns to Wildwood Beach for its 15th anniversary.
The Barefoot Country Music Fest (BCMF), South Jersey’s premier summer music festival, is set to return to Wildwood beach from June 19 to June 22, 2025. Located between the two Morey’s Piers, the festival marks its fifth year, building on its past successes, which saw attendance figures soaring to approximately 35,000 daily participants in the previous year. The festival continues to expand its reach, promising an exciting lineup that features prominent names in country music alongside emerging talents.
This year’s festival is highlighted by a diverse array of performances from acclaimed artists. The opening night on Thursday will feature the widely popular country-pop trio Rascal Flatts, known for their impressive record of 16 No. 1 hits, including their iconic song, “Bless This Broken Road.” Another notable act, Georgia-based artist Megan Moroney, is expected to draw considerable attention. Moroney, who has gained recognition for her emotive songwriting and unique “emo cowgirl” persona, made waves with her breakout album, Am I Okay?, and has released her compelling 2023 debut, Lucky.
As the festival progresses, Friday will spotlight Lainey Wilson, the 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year and the first woman to win the award since Taylor Swift in 2011. Alongside her, Avery Anna will perform, showcasing her new album, Let Go Letters, which resonates deeply with fans through tracks addressing personal struggles and mental health issues. Additionally, Kaitlin Butts, a rising star in the country music scene, will grace the second stage with her powerful performances.
The festival reaches a crescendo on Saturday with Jason Aldean, the controversial star known for his provocative song “Try That In A Small Town.” Also performing on the main stage is Boyz II Men, the Philadelphia-based R&B group, who are striving to engage with the country audience through their collaborations, most notably a recent ballad with country artist Brett Young. Another noteworthy performer that day is Willow Avalon, an up-and-coming talent who has captured audiences with her traditional country sound.
Sunday will conclude the festival with a headlining performance by Jelly Roll, the artist who has successfully blended hip-hop influences with country music. He is expected to attract significant crowds fresh from a high-profile show with Post Malone. Also featured that day is Bayker Blankenship, a teenage songwriter recognized for his viral hit “Maxed Out” and his new single, “Thinking Of Me.”
