Hall’s brother Edwin Maldonado, a commercial airline pilot and retired Army officer, spoke about the bravery of his nephew, emphasizing that the teen’s actions were motivated by a desire to save his mother. Following the assault, Hall’s son was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is currently in stable condition, albeit unable to speak due to the severity of his neck injury.
