The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that early on Saturday morning, multiple shots were fired at a group of individuals who were inside a parked vehicle.
According to newly released dispatch audio, the victim was identified as a Hispanic female sustaining a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Emergency responders promptly transported De La Rosa to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where she was admitted in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
The LAPD investigation revealed that two suspects approached the parked vehicle and began firing at its occupants. The suspects, who remain unidentified, are described as two Hispanic males, aged between 15 and 20, both wearing dark gray hooded sweatshirts at the time of the attack. Witness accounts suggest that De La Rosa was seated in the front passenger seat of the vehicle, while another woman and a man were present in the car, situated on the driver’s side during the shooting.
