Emilie Kiser returns to TikTok following the tragic drowning death of her 3-year-old son.

Influencer Emilie Kiser has re-emerged on social media platforms following the tragic drowning death of her three-year-old son, Trigg. She has expressed an intent to share her journey of grief candidly, stating she will not “sugarcoat” the complex emotions that accompany such a profound loss.

Kiser, 26, returned to TikTok recently, releasing a nearly five-minute video in which she elaborated on her daily struggles with grief. She reflected on the challenges of navigating her new reality while engaging with her audience, emphasizing her commitment to authenticity in her content creation process. Kiser remarked on the therapeutic effect of returning to her online presence, stating that she misses connecting with her followers. However, she acknowledged that she is still processing her emotions and may not disclose everything about her grief journey immediately.

The influencer has accrued significant followings across various platforms, boasting 156,000 subscribers on YouTube, 1.8 million followers on Instagram, and 4.2 million on TikTok. She noted that while she has many things she wishes to discuss regarding her experiences since Trigg’s passing, she is not ready to share every detail just yet. Kiser reached out to others who may be experiencing similar grief, expressing solidarity with those in mourning.

The circumstances of Trigg’s drowning on May 12 remain particularly devastating. According to a police report, Kiser’s husband, Brady Kiser, was allegedly distracted by the NBA playoffs, resulting in Trigg being left unsupervised in their Arizona backyard for over nine minutes. During this time, the young child fell into the pool, remaining submerged for approximately seven minutes before being discovered. Despite emergency efforts and a week-long hospitalization, Trigg was declared dead on May 18.

While the Chandler Police Department recommended that Brady Kiser face charges of felony child abuse in relation to his son’s death, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue the case, citing a lack of reasonable likelihood for conviction.

Following these events, Emilie Kiser publicly thanked her family and online community for their support during this challenging time, indicating her intention to establish clearer boundaries regarding her online sharing. As she navigates this painful chapter, Kiser aims to foster a supportive environment for discussions about grief and healing, offering her followers insight into her journey while prioritizing her emotional well-being.

As Emilie Kiser continues to share her experiences, many are left to contemplate the broader discussions surrounding parental responsibilities and the importance of vigilance in ensuring child safety.
