Former Midlothian ISD substitute teacher arrested for child sexual assault charge.
Midlothian police have arrested two individuals in connection with a potential child sexual assault case, sparking concerns within the community. The arrests occurred following a report received by law enforcement on December 17, which prompted immediate investigation into the allegations.
Madison Jones, 30, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, along with several related offenses. The Midlothian Independent School District (MISD) reported that Jones briefly served as a substitute teacher at Heritage High School and Baxter Elementary. Her employment history with the district reveals that she worked for only four days during October and November, with her last day logged on November 19 at Heritage High School.
The school district emphasized that the allegations against Jones do not pertain to her conduct while employed with the MISD, indicating that the alleged offenses did not occur on school property or involve students from the district. Following the revelation of the charges, the district confirmed that Jones is no longer affiliated with them.
Further complicating the investigation, Jones may face additional charges, including possession of child pornography and indecent sexual contact with a child, according to statements made by MISD. The legal ramifications associated with these allegations underscore the serious nature of the case and the potential for further developments.
In a separate but related incident, authorities arrested Zackery Dondlinger, 37, in Loving County. Dondlinger faces charges for sexual performance by a child and is currently detained at the Winkler County Detention Center. This arrest highlights a broader issue of sexual offenses involving minors, prompting calls for increased vigilance and community awareness regarding the safety and protection of children.
Both arrests have drawn significant attention, with local law enforcement urging anyone with additional information related to the investigations to contact Detective Dawson Frazer at 469-672-0056. The police department remains committed to ensuring the safety of the community and addressing any incidents of abuse or exploitation that may arise.
As the investigations into these allegations continue, Midlothian residents are reminded of the importance of safeguarding children and remaining vigilant against predatory behaviors.
