Health inspectors shut down several Orange County restaurants between July 16 and July 23.

In a recent update from Orange County health inspectors, several restaurants and food vendors were temporarily closed due to health violations during the period from July 16 to July 23. These closures, which were often prompted by issues such as pest infestations, highlight the ongoing efforts to ensure food safety in the region.

Among the establishments affected was Ocean Heart Market & Deli, located at 301 17th Street in Huntington Beach, which was ordered to close on July 23, although no specific reason for its closure was provided. Similarly, Thien An Bo 7 Mon Restaurant at 9862 Westminster Avenue in Garden Grove was closed on the same day due to a cockroach infestation, but was able to reopen on July 24.

Bikini In A Bottle, situated at 1535 West Chapman Avenue in Orange, faced a rodent infestation that led to its closure on July 22, but the establishment reopened the following day after addressing the issue. In Anaheim, Mariscos Nayarit, located at 135 West Ball Road, was also closed on July 22 due to both a cockroach infestation and insufficient hot water.

Other notable closures included Spice Social at 138 West Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton, which was shut down on July 21 also for a cockroach infestation, but managed to reopen the next day. Chaplus Modern Tea Room at Anaheim GardenWalk, located at 400 West Disney Way, was closed on the same day due to rodent issues, reopening on July 22.

Casa Fresh, located at 177 North Raymond Avenue in Fullerton, was closed on July 21 due to a cockroach infestation, but was allowed to reopen on July 23. 99 Bottles & Cocktails in Anaheim, located at 8885 Katella Avenue, was briefly closed on July 17 for rodent issues but reopened the same day.

Updates from the previous week’s report included Gohyang Rice Cake at 9108 Garden Grove Boulevard in Garden Grove, which was ordered closed on July 16, ultimately reopening on July 18. Additionally, Golfers Paradise at 1600 North Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton and Supreme Pizza at 12447 Valley View Street in Garden Grove were also closed earlier due to rodent and cockroach infestations, respectively, but both were permitted to reopen by July 23.
