Justin Bieber performs on Day 2 of Weekend 2 at Coachella 2026
Indio, California, is poised to welcome thousands of music enthusiasts as the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival enters its second day on Saturday. The highly anticipated event features pop sensation Justin Bieber as the headline performer, taking the stage at 11:25 p.m. on the Coachella Stage. Festival attendees can also look forward to a diverse lineup that includes well-known artists such as Giveon, The Strokes, Nine Inch Nails, Morat, and Geese.
Adding to the excitement, country music star Kacey Musgraves has been confirmed to perform at 3 p.m. on the Mojave Stage. She recently unveiled a kinetic mural created by visual artist Hervey Garcia in advance of her upcoming album, “Middle of Nowhere.” The mural is located at 78550 Varner Road and features a captivating desert-inspired scene crafted to simulate movement.
The festival kicked off its second weekend with an impressive set from Sabrina Carpenter, who was joined on stage by music icon Madonna. Together, they delivered renditions of Madonna’s celebrated classics, “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer,” as well as a new track titled “I Feel So Free” from her forthcoming album, “Confessions II.” Carpenter’s performance was noted for its theatrical flair, highlighted by a Hollywood-style sign labeled “Sabrinawood,” and featured cameo appearances from film industry figures Geena Davis and Terry Crews.
Friday’s performances also included a wide range of musical acts such as The xx, Disclosure, Lykke Li, Katseye, Sexyy Red, Swae Lee, and Joyce Manor, showcasing a mix of genres that appeal to a broad audience.
The festival will wrap up on Sunday, with Karol G scheduled to headline around 10:10 p.m. on the Coachella Stage. Other featured performers include Wet Leg, Major Lazer, Young Thug, Duke Dumont, Iggy Pop, and FKA Twigs, promising a grand finale of music and entertainment.
Law enforcement reported a total of 97 arrests during the festival’s first weekend, with charges that included 59 for drug possession and 14 for the use of false identification. Additionally, officers issued 32 citations for the unlawful use of disabled parking placards.
Local authorities remind festivalgoers and nearby residents to report non-emergency concerns such as noise, traffic, and parking issues to the Indio Police Department at 760-391-4051.
The festival, taking place at the Empire Polo Club, located at 81-800 51st Avenue, continues to build on its reputation for delivering top-tier musical talent in a vibrant and celebratory setting, drawing fans from across the globe.
