The confrontation unfolded on Friday at approximately 3:45 p.m., initiated by a heated exchange between Joshaun L. Williams, 24, and the father, a 39-year-old man, who was present with his two sons.
According to an affidavit released by law enforcement, the disagreement began when Williams shouted at the father and his children from across the street. The father, accompanied by his sons, approached Williams, leading to an altercation. Surveillance footage reportedly captured the boys’ mother positioning herself between her children and Williams, who subsequently brandished a knife. During the ensuing struggle, Williams allegedly stabbed the father in the chest.
