New Jersey man arrested for filming sexual acts with dogs and sharing child pornography, according to law enforcement.
A New Jersey man has been arrested after authorities allege he engaged in sexual acts with multiple dogs and recorded the abuse. Hunter Roy, 26, was taken into custody on May 8 and is now facing a series of serious charges, including the possession and distribution of child pornography, according to a press release from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
Roy has been accused of not only filming himself committing acts of sexual abuse against dogs but also sharing these videos with others involved in similar illegal activities. Investigators revealed that he participated in sexual communications with an underage male and distributed more than 9,000 files containing child pornography. The nature of these allegations places Roy in a particularly severe legal situation, as he faces multiple charges including third-degree debauching of a child for the communications with the minor.
The investigation into Roy’s activities began after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children alerted local authorities regarding troubling online behaviors. Upon examining Roy’s internet usage and associated patterns, law enforcement uncovered a history of distributing child pornography. During the course of the investigation, it was found that Roy had filmed explicit videos with a Rottweiler and another small dog, which he subsequently shared with individuals who also engage in animal sexual abuse.
In addition to the charges related to animal cruelty and child pornography, Roy faces fourth-degree animal cruelty charges and third-degree narcotics possession. Law enforcement officials executed a search of Roy’s residence in Maple Shade, situated approximately eight miles east of Philadelphia. During this search, they seized multiple electronic devices, which are currently under analysis to gather further evidence against him.
The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office has made it clear that they are taking these charges seriously, emphasizing the importance of protecting both children and animals from sexual exploitation. Roy is currently being held in Burlington County Jail, awaiting further legal proceedings.
