Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore confirmed she suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene. Among the nine injured, two individuals sustained severe injuries, prompting immediate medical attention. Authorities reported that some of the wounded sought treatment at local hospitals, with one person requiring air transport to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

As the chaos unfolded, witnesses reported a scene of panic, with attendees fleeing for safety. The aftermath left behind dispersed personal belongings, including shoes and clothing, as over 100 law enforcement personnel, including emergency medical services and state troopers, responded to the scene.
