Police seek driver involved in hit-and-run that resulted in the death of a 57-year-old man in Northeast Philadelphia.

The victim, 57-year-old Kelvin Williams, was pronounced dead at the scene following a collision involving his pickup truck.
According to police reports, Williams was driving a 2002 Ford F-150 when a newer-model black SUV, believed to be a Jeep Grand Cherokee, struck his vehicle on Roosevelt Boulevard, just north of Adams Avenue. The collision took place shortly before 8 a.m. as Williams was traveling north on the inner drive of the 4800 block of the Boulevard. The black SUV reportedly was traveling at a high speed when it hit the grassy median and subsequently veered into Williams’s truck.
The impact from the crash caused the Ford F-150 to roll over onto its driver’s side, resulting in Williams being partially ejected from the vehicle. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the site of the accident. The two passengers in Williams’s truck, aged 52 and 75, were transported to Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. Fortunately, they are currently listed in stable condition, as per police updates.
