Queens family tied up and robbed by armed thieves posing as Amazon deliverymen.

Two armed individuals impersonating Amazon delivery personnel executed a home invasion in the Whitestone neighborhood of Queens, New York, on Monday morning, according to police reports. The incident, which took place at approximately 6:30 a.m. at a residence located near 152nd Street and 12th Avenue, targeted a family of five, including two young children.

Authorities from the 109th Precinct have released surveillance images of the suspects and are soliciting public assistance in identifying and locating them. One of the assailants was seen wearing a yellow reflective vest, while the other was carrying a large Amazon box, which served as a guise to facilitate their entry into the residence.

Once inside, the robbers confronted the family, consisting of a 43-year-old father, 39-year-old mother, their 18-year-old daughter, 10-year-old son, and 5-year-old daughter. The armed intruders brandished their weapons and ordered the family members into the basement, where they were zip-tied and their mouths were taped shut. This violent act left the family in a state of trauma, although none of the members sustained physical injuries.

After securing the house and rummaging through it for valuables, the suspects absconded with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry. They escaped using the family’s Chrysler vehicle, which was later discovered abandoned just four blocks away from the scene of the crime.
