A drive-by shooting outside the Artis Lounge nightclub in Chicago’s River North neighborhood resulted in the tragic loss of four lives and left over a dozen others injured. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on a Wednesday night as attendees had gathered for a record-release party featuring the rapper Mello Buckzz. Witnesses reported that a dark SUV approached the venue on the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue, where three individuals fired shots into the crowd of patrons congregating outside.

Immediately following the shooting, the assailants fled the scene, and as of Thursday, law enforcement had not apprehended any suspects. Among the deceased were two men and two women, aged 24 and 25 years, although their identities have yet to be disclosed.

In addition to those killed, the police reported that 14 individuals sustained injuries, with three victims currently in critical condition. The injured range in age from 21 to 32, underscoring a broad impact on the community.
