Jefry Maldonado Hernandez, aged 25, reportedly drove eastbound on W Busch Boulevard shortly before 3:30 a.m. According to law enforcement, he accelerated to pass through a yellow traffic light at the intersection of N Armenia Avenue. Following the light’s change to red, Hernandez’s vehicle collided with a Lexus operated by a man in his early 60s. The driver of the Lexus sustained critical injuries and was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
