Emergency responders rushed to the scene, where initial reports indicated that four individuals required medical attention. Among them, two victims were pronounced dead at the location, while a third succumbed to injuries at a nearby hospital. A fourth person received treatment for unrelated injuries.

By approximately 3:34 p.m., the suspect was taken into custody. Reports indicate that the individual carjacked a vehicle from what is believed to be one of the victims shortly after the shooting. After fleeing the scene, the suspect crashed the stolen vehicle and subsequently stole another car from a nearby Volkswagen dealership. Law enforcement ultimately located the suspect approximately 18.5 miles south of the original crime scene. During the apprehension, he was tasered by police.

The suspect, identified as a 32-year-old white male, reportedly has a history of mental health issues.
