Tory Lanez launches website claiming to share suppressed evidence related to Megan Thee Stallion shooting case.

Rapper Tory Lanez’s legal team has recently unveiled a website asserting the existence of “suppressed evidence” related to his high-profile shooting case involving Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez is currently serving a ten-year prison sentence after a jury found him guilty of shooting the acclaimed hip-hop artist in the foot nearly five years ago, following a party in the Hollywood Hills. The defense contends that inconsistencies in testimonies and the alleged absence of critical evidence support Lanez’s claims of innocence.

The website, titled 36hourslater.com, features police bodycam footage where Megan allegedly states that she “wasn’t shot,” suggesting instead that she sustained an injury by stepping on broken glass during the incident. Authorities present at the scene appeared to consider this possibility as they assessed the situation.

Moreover, the defense cites eyewitness accounts indicating that Megan was engaged in a physical altercation with her friend, Kelsey Harris, which reportedly began inside a Cadillac Escalade before transitioning to the street. According to Lanez’s attorneys, he remained inside the vehicle during the dispute until gunfire erupted. They claim he exited the SUV to intervene in an effort to seize the firearm involved.

The gun connected to the shooting was introduced into evidence, and according to the new site, only 0.01% of the DNA on the weapon matched Lanez’s, suggesting that it would be implausible for him to have discharged it five times during the altercation. Additionally, female DNA was detected on the gun, and Harris allegedly tested positive for gunshot residue, but her DNA was never compared with that found on the firearm.

Medical documentation disclosed on the website purportedly highlights discrepancies related to Megan’s injuries. The defense alleges that three different medical professionals assessed her wounds, with only one doctor attributing them to a gunshot. Notably, none of these medical experts were called to provide testimony during the trial.

Lanez has consistently maintained his stance of being wrongfully convicted, while Megan has reiterated her version of events. In earlier statements, she acknowledged not fully disclosing the incident to authorities initially, citing concerns about legal repercussions. Over a month after the incident, she definitively accused Lanez of the shooting amidst rampant online speculation about the circumstances of that night.

In recent updates, Megan Thee Stallion has expressed her anxiety concerning Lanez’s eventual release from prison. In January, the Grammy Award-winning artist was granted a restraining order against Lanez, following claims that he had been harassing her while incarcerated. The ongoing legal developments surrounding this case continue to capture widespread public interest, reflecting broader discussions about justice and accountability in the music industry.
