15-Year-Old Boy Fatally Stabbed at Large Party in Long Island

A tragic incident unfolded on Long Island late Monday night as a 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed outside a large party, according to local authorities. The victim, identified as Liam Delemo, a resident of West Babylon, succumbed to injuries incurred during a fight that erupted shortly before 10:30 p.m. at a gathering attended by approximately 90 to 100 teenagers on Carlton Road.

The Suffolk County Police Department reported that Delemo was promptly transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. This incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, raising concerns about youth violence and safety at large gatherings.

As of now, no suspects have been arrested or publicly identified in connection with the stabbing. Investigators have not disclosed the precise motivations underpinning the altercation at the party. Authorities have called upon anyone with pertinent information to reach out to their offices.

Liam Delemo’s tragic death marks a disturbing trend in Suffolk County, where it represents at least the third stabbing involving young individuals within the span of two weeks. Earlier in October, two sisters were arrested following a separate incident involving the stabbing of a 21-year-old man at their home in Mastic. The sisters, 19-year-old Myia King-Harrison and 18-year-old Diamond King, reportedly attacked Nico Cassetana while he intervened on behalf of his younger sister.

On October 22, another case of violence was reported in North Amityville, where a 16-year-old boy was injured in a stabbing incident around 3 p.m., though law enforcement has yet to identify any suspects. Fortunately, the victim is anticipated to survive his injuries.

Additionally, earlier in the month, an off-duty NYPD officer was also a victim of stabbing in Lindenhurst while attempting to thwart a carjacking. The accused, Royal Hooks, a 27-year-old man from Manhattan, has since been charged in connection to that case.

As the community comes to terms with this latest tragic incident, pressure mounts for law enforcement to address rising concerns over public safety and youth violence in the area. The Suffolk County police are urging residents to cooperate with their investigations to prevent further tragedies.
