Jill Biden’s ex-husband’s wife found dead following domestic dispute call.

Authorities in Delaware have confirmed that Linda Stevenson, the wife of former first lady Jill Biden’s ex-husband, was found deceased in the couple’s living room. The discovery occurred shortly after police responded to a domestic disturbance call at approximately 11:16 p.m. on a recent Sunday evening.

Upon arrival, the New Castle County Division of Police discovered the 64-year-old woman “unresponsive” and immediately initiated life-saving measures. Unfortunately, these efforts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. An investigation is now underway, led by the department’s Criminal Investigations Unit, and an autopsy is scheduled to be performed by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science. Authorities have urged anyone with relevant information to contact the police.

While details regarding the circumstances of Linda Stevenson’s death remain sparse, police did not disclose whether her husband, Bill Stevenson, was present at the time of the incident. Preliminary audio of the 911 call suggests a potential reference to cardiac arrest, though no formal charges have been filed as of yet.

Linda’s husband, Bill Stevenson, was previously married to Jill Biden, then known as Jill Jacobs, from 1970 to 1975. Their marriage was marked by significant upheaval, culminating in a contentious divorce after a year-long separation. Following this relationship, Jill Biden married Joe Biden, a prominent U.S. senator at the time, in 1977. Bill and Linda Stevenson had reportedly been married for approximately 40 years.

Throughout the years, Bill Stevenson has made allegations regarding Jill Biden, claiming she had an affair with Joe Biden before their divorce. However, Jill Biden has consistently denied these assertions. In a separate incident in 2021, Bill Stevenson was questioned by authorities about an alleged affair he had with Kathie Durst, the wife of convicted killer Robert Durst, prior to her mysterious disappearance in 1982.

In addition to his personal history, Bill Stevenson is known for founding The Stone Balloon, a renowned tavern and concert hall in Delaware. The establishment gained fame as one of America’s top college bars, hosting legendary performances by artists including Bruce Springsteen, The Allman Brothers, The Dave Matthews Band, and Metallica, among others.

As the investigation continues, community members are left grappling with the tragic news and awaiting further developments from law enforcement regarding this incident. The circumstances surrounding Linda Stevenson’s death remain unclear, and authorities encourage anyone with information to contribute to the ongoing investigation.
