Effective September 1, Collins-Bratton is set to assume the role of CEO at Klyde Warren Park, transitioning from her position as chief relationships officer at the Communities Foundation of Texas. Her extensive background encompasses pivotal leadership roles, including her tenure as president of the Dallas Park and Recreation Board. Collins-Bratton’s experience also includes a significant role within the Methodist Health System Foundation, where she focused on strategic events and relationship-building.
Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Collins-Bratton established herself in media as a television news reporter and anchor. This diverse background equips her with a unique perspective on community engagement and public communication, essential qualities for her new leadership role at Klyde Warren Park.
Klyde Warren Park, a critical urban project that opened in 2012, serves as a vital link between downtown Dallas and the Uptown area, effectively bridging the two neighborhoods over the Woodall Rogers Freeway. The park has since become an essential feature in the city landscape, attracting approximately 1.3 million visitors annually.
In an official statement, the Klyde Warren Park board expressed confidence in Collins-Bratton’s ability to lead the park into its next phase of development and enhancement.
