Jared Leto faces allegations of criminal sexual conduct involving teenagers in a new documentary.

New allegations of criminal sexual misconduct have emerged against Jared Leto, just over a year after he categorically denied previous claims of sexual impropriety made by multiple women. The latest revelations, which focus on accusations from ten women, will be featured in the upcoming BBC documentary titled “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” scheduled to premiere on Wednesday. The documentary highlights alleged misconduct by the actor and musician between the years 2002 and 2016, with nine of the ten accusers speaking out publicly for the first time.

Among the allegations, four women report that they were victims of criminal sexual conduct when they were minors, aged between 16 and 19 at the time of the alleged incidents. One accuser, who was 16 years old, claims that Leto groomed her through sexually explicit phone calls and suggested they engage in sexual activities. Importantly, she stated that she never signed a non-disclosure agreement that Leto reportedly sent to her later.

Another accuser, under the alias Isabel, alleges that she was assaulted by Leto in a motel bathroom when she was 17 years old. Additionally, a woman using the name Clara describes an incident in which she alleges statutory rape occurred when she was 17, while Leto was 34, in California, which has an age of consent set at 18. According to Clara, Leto made unsettling requests, asserting phrases that would echo the dynamics of a predatory adult-child relationship.

A former model identified as Alex recounts a troubling encounter with Leto after being lured to a London afterparty by his assistant. Despite pretending to be younger to evade Leto’s advances, she claims that he expressed a disregard for age differences, famously stating that “age is just a number,” and subsequently confronted her in a hotel room, where she felt threatened before managing to escape.

The documentary also includes accounts from five other women who allege that Leto attempted to engage them in sexual conversation, often through disturbing phone calls when they were teenagers. One of these accounts comes from a woman named Taylor, who recalls a concert experience at the age of 14, where Leto made inappropriate comments after signing a T-shirt across her chest, pressing the issue even after her mother intervened.

In June 2025, an exposé published by AirMail titled “The Cult of Leto” provided insight into prior allegations involving nine women, some of whom indicated experiences of sexual impropriety dating back to their underage years. At that time, Leto’s representatives issued a strong denial of all allegations, asserting that they were baseless. The controversy gained momentum following accusations from DJ and music producer Allie Teilz, who stated she was 17 when Leto allegedly assaulted her, characterizing the encounter as predatory and unacceptable.

The unfolding situation continues to raise significant questions about accountability and the treatment of allegations within the entertainment industry. As the documentary approaches its premiere, it remains to be seen how these allegations will impact Leto’s career and public image moving forward. Media News Source will continue to cover developments in this case as they arise.
