Halle Bailey secures restraining order against former boyfriend DDG.

The order was issued by a Los Angeles County judge on Tuesday and will remain in place until a hearing scheduled for June 6. Under the terms of the order, DDG is required to maintain a distance of at least 100 feet from Bailey and their 17-month-old son, Halo.

In legal documents filed with the court, Bailey, who is 27 years old, accused DDG of engaging in a pattern of physical and verbal abuse following their breakup in October. Reports indicate that Bailey has alleged multiple incidents of aggression, including an occurrence in January where she claims DDG physically attacked her during a custody exchange for their son. She detailed this incident in her filing, stating that he allegedly wrestled with her, pulled her hair, and slammed her head against the steering wheel of a car. Included in the documentation was photographic evidence of a chipped tooth that Bailey reported as a result of this altercation.

Further claims from Bailey indicate troubling behavior by DDG, including an alleged incident in March when he entered her home while she and Halo were absent. He reportedly sent her a photograph taken from the bedroom, which heightened her concerns for her safety. In the aftermath, another confrontation ensued, during which DDG purportedly damaged Bailey’s doorbell camera after realizing it was recording their interaction.

Bailey expressed in her court filings that the situation has escalated to a point where DDG allegedly utilizes his substantial social media following to incite harassment against her. She stated that DDG has publicly maligned her, asserting that she is restricting his access to their son and engaging in relationships with other men, which has resulted in Bailey receiving threats and negative messages from DDG’s fans online.

The court’s actions reflect a serious response to the allegations presented, underscoring the importance of protection for individuals experiencing domestic abuse.
