This incident has prompted many Texans to seek improved preparations for future power outages, leading Kovar to purchase a Ford F-150 in the hope of enhancing his crisis readiness.
Ford recently introduced an innovative solution that allows certain F-150 models to serve as backup power sources during outages. By providing a setup enabling drivers to connect their vehicle directly to their electric meter, Ford is capitalizing on the growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) integrated with home energy solutions.
