Vanore indicated that detectives retrieved surveillance footage showing two men in the vicinity at the time of the incident—one described as a thin Black male in a black leather jacket, and the other as an older individual with a bald head donning a gray jacket. Law enforcement is seeking to question these two individuals, who were reported to be carrying items from Thiam’s home. There were no signs of forced entry.
Thiam, originally from Côte d’Ivoire, was remembered fondly by colleagues and locals alike.
