The Ramona Senior Center, located at 434 Aqua Lane, is offering a variety of dining options for seniors in the community. Open for in-person meals from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, the center aims to provide nutritious meals while fostering social interaction among seniors. Additionally, Ramona Meals On Wheels is available to deliver meals to homebound seniors, ensuring that all elderly residents have access to healthy food.
For seniors aged 60 and older, the center requests a suggested donation of for lunch. This affordable pricing allows seniors to enjoy a well-balanced meal while supporting the center’s operations. The upcoming menu for the next few weeks features a diverse selection of meals designed to cater to various dietary preferences and requirements. On Wednesday, April 9, diners can look forward to Ground Beef Meat Loaf accompanied by a baked potato, California vegetables, peaches, whole grain bread, and milk. The following day, Thursday, April 10, will feature Beef Stew, rich with carrots, potatoes, onions, and celery, served with a whole grain roll and mandarin oranges.
As the week progresses, the menu continues to offer hearty options including Pork Tenderloin on Friday, April 11; Baked Fish on Monday, April 14; and Chicken Enchilada Casserole on Tuesday, April 15. In anticipation of Easter, a special lunch is planned for Thursday, April 17, featuring Ham Steak, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and applesauce, among other offerings. Notably, the center will be closed on Friday, April 18.
