Three high school students die in Montgomery County crash after police pursuit.

Three high school students tragically lost their lives in a vehicle crash linked to a police pursuit in Limerick Township late Tuesday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on the 300 block of Ridge Pike. According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, prior to the crash, officers had been responding to a reported theft in progress at a Target store in nearby Royersford and attempted to stop a vehicle believed to be connected to the alleged theft.

The driver of the vehicle fled from the police, subsequently losing control of the car, which was occupied by four individuals. The collision resulted in the immediate deaths of three occupants—two male teenagers and one female teenager—at the scene. A fourth male teen who was also in the vehicle was transported to Temple University Hospital; however, his condition remains unknown.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been disclosed, and officials are actively continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. The incident has deeply affected the local community, particularly the Owen J. Roberts School District. Superintendent Will Stout announced that among the deceased were two students currently attending Owen J. Roberts High School, along with a former student. The injured individual was also a student of the district.
