Neil described the aftermath of the stroke, which resulted in a loss of function in the left side of his body. Following medical advice that suggested he might never return to the stage, Neil expressed a resolute determination to recover. He recounted how he was initially dependent on assistance, requiring help even for basic movements such as walking. His rehabilitation journey was arduous; it began with being transported in a wheelchair, then transitioning to the use of a walker and subsequently a cane.
