High Noon recalls spiked seltzer that was incorrectly labeled as Celsius energy drinks.

High Noon has initiated a recall of certain packages of its vodka seltzer product after a significant mix-up involving mislabeling with non-alcoholic Celsius energy drinks. The recall, which was formally announced on July 30, 2025, affects specific cans within the High Noon Beach Variety packs, which were inadvertently labeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, specifically the Sparkling Blue Razz Edition.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has indicated that the affected cans feature a distinctive silver lid, a deviation from the standard black lid typically used for Celsius products. According to High Noon, the mislabeling error occurred due to a “shared packaging supplier” that mistakenly shipped empty Celsius cans to the company’s production line. While the company has characterized the issue as affecting only a “small batch,” it has not disclosed the exact quantity of affected cases.

The implicated products were distributed to various retailers across eight states, including New York, Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin, between July 21 and July 23. Although no injuries or illnesses have been reported as a result of this mislabeling incident, consumers are advised to check for specific lot codes. The cans in question bear the lot codes ranging from L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11, and customers possessing these products should dispose of them immediately.

High Noon is encouraging consumers who have purchased these affected units to reach out via email at consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com for further guidance. This includes information regarding potential refunds and other steps that may need to be taken.

While the incident has raised concerns regarding labeling and safety compliance, the swift response from High Noon and the FDA demonstrates a commitment to consumer welfare and transparency. As the situation develops, affected consumers are urged to remain vigilant and adhere to the guidance provided by both the company and regulatory agencies.

For additional details, customers may visit the official High Noon website or contact consumer relations directly. This incident serves as a reminder of the complexities involved in food and beverage production and the importance of stringent quality control measures in the industry.
