Taylor Frankie Paul to return with limited participation in “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

Taylor Frankie Paul, known for her appearances on reality television, is set to return in a limited capacity to the popular series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” following a series of controversies surrounding her personal life. Paul’s participation has been significantly impacted by a domestic violence incident from 2023, which came to light amid circulating footage of the altercation.

Sources indicate that the 32-year-old reality star will spend the current week filming the introduction for the fifth season of the Hulu show. Reports suggest that this will be her sole contribution to the season, effectively ruling out her involvement in further filming which might have included a final confessional segment.

The filming pause in March occurred after allegations emerged involving Paul and her estranged on-and-off boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. She was accused of choking Mortensen in front of their two-year-old son, Ever. However, additional information surfaced claiming that Mortensen was the one exhibiting abusive behavior. As a result, Utah authorities mandated that both individuals undergo psychiatric evaluations; ultimately, no charges were filed against either party.

The controversies escalated when a video surfaced, reportedly from 2023, depicting a drunken Paul throwing metal barstools at Mortensen, one of which allegedly struck her daughter, Indy, then five years old. Following the release of this video, ABC, which airs “The Bachelorette,” also a Disney-owned property, decided to pull Paul’s season from its lineup. Mortensen was subsequently awarded temporary custody of Ever, leading to ongoing legal disputes concerning custody arrangements.

Currently, Paul maintains probation status, having pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. This plea deal resulted in other charges, including felony domestic violence in the presence of a child and misdemeanor child abuse, being dismissed. In the aftermath of the incident, both Paul and Mortensen sought restraining orders against one another.

Reports indicate that Paul has been proactive in addressing her personal challenges and is committed to personal improvement. She voluntarily checked into a rehabilitation facility, demonstrating a commitment to recovery and betterment. As developments continue to unfold, the public remains attentive to her journey and the impact of her actions on her family and professional life.
